
Alicia Pattillo is an Emmy-winning journalist, communications strategist, and passionate storyteller dedicated to helping brands and organizations connect with purpose.
After more than a decade on-air, she transitioned behind the scenes with Brinkmore Communications, where she helps creatives, change-makers, and organizations discover their voice, craft impactful messages, and share stories that truly resonate. Whether producing a podcast, developing a campaign, or creating brand content that inspires, Alicia infuses heart, clarity, and culture into every project.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Communications, which continues to shape the way she approaches storytelling, strategy, and brand messaging.
Her broadcasting journey began at FOX 32 Chicago as a production assistant before she joined WGN-TV as an assignment editor, earning an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Achievement in News Specialty Reporting. From there, Alicia reported and anchored at KERO ABC 23 in Bakersfield, California, where she received an Emmy Award for breaking news and an Edward R. Murrow Award for team coverage.
In 2018, she joined 13 Action News, KTNV in Las Vegas, where she launched Bridging The Divide—a series dedicated to exploring issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion while amplifying stories from underserved communities.
Today, Alicia continues to use her voice and platform to advocate for social justice, uplift underrepresented communities, and mentor young women in honor of her late mother. Alongside her professional work, she holds a Master’s degree in Communications and remains committed to using her expertise to amplify voices and inspire the next generation of women to embrace their worth and pursue their dreams.
